Payee Services

Payee services are available to social security recipients in Erie, Huron, Lucas and Richland Counties to assist with bill payment and to protect from financial exploitation.  Those living on limited incomes may have difficulty managing their monthly budgets.  Staff work with payee clients to establish a monthly budget, make monthly payments, negotiate with creditors and plan for future financial needs.  This is a voluntary relationship, and the individual is able to resume personal management of their finances at any time.
